Abstract

Thalamotomy is an effective procedure for tremor treatment. Radiofrequency lesioning is the standart procedure for surgery. However if the patient hasa contrindication for electrode insertion, gammathalamotomy may be a safe procedure to choose. In this report a case with tremor treated with gammathalamotomy who has a medical contrindication for RF thalamotomy is presented.
