Abstract
Background: ldiopathic hypertrophic pachymeningitis, is a rare inflammatory disorder characterized by marked fibrous thickening of the duramater. Although the reported cases are increasing in the last years, the exact diagnosis and treatment are still problematic.Objectives: It will be presented a patient who has headache and neurophtalmologic findings. Findings: The final diagnosis is idiopathic hypertrophic pachymeningitis in this patient with progressive cavernous sinus involvement. Conclusion: ldiopathic hypertrophic pachymeningitis must be suggested in the differential diagnosis of the patients with headache and cranial nerve involvement,
