Abstract
Background: Bilaterally internal carotid artery occlusion is a rare clinical entity. One of the critical factor in developing cerebral infarct due to arterial occlusion is the presence or absence of well developed collateral circulation for perfusion. Objectives: Here we present two cases admitting with transient ischemic attack symptoms . lnvestigations revealed bilateral internal carotid'artery occlusion. We demonstrate collateral pathwaysangiographically. Findings: Angiographically bilateral internal carotid arteries occlusionand infarcts that different ages and localisations in computerize tomography were observed in both of two cases. Conclusion: Clinical signs and symptoms in the cases with well developed collateral circulation might be favorable. We demonstrate collateralpathways angiographically.
