Abstract
The prevalence of the Creutzfeldt-jakob disease in Turkey is unkown. We reviewed ninecases reported in the Turkish neurologic literature of the last 10 years, and described twonew cases. The relative rarity reported cases suggests the missed diagnosis of the patients with Creutzfeldt-jakob disease. This should be due to the negligence of characteristic clinical features of the disease and the lack of routine autopsy practice.
