Abstract

The Neck-Tongue syndrome (NTS) is a rare syndrome cbaracterized by pain in C2dermatome and numbness in ipsilateral part of tongue during abrupt head rotation. Thisarticle presents a 47 year-old patient complaining pain in the left retroauricular areaduring sudden turns of head ta the right band side, simultaneous numbness in tbe tongueand the tip of nose and disartria. This patient is the 39th case with NTS in the literature. We conclude that the C2 spinal nerve is impaired together with the trigeminal tractus during head rotation in this patients .
