Abstract

A neurologic disorder which known as subacute myelo-optic nuropathy (SMON) characterized by a predominantrlu sensory neuropathy, myelopathy and visual impairment. Almost all instances of this disorder have been shown to follow usage of clioquinol. Mos cases have occured in Japan. In this paper we present a case SMON induced by antituberculous treatment in uremia. In the search for literature we disclosed only one report which has similar properties.
