Abstract

Typical presentation of spontaneous internal carotid artery dissection is an ipsilateral pain in neck and face with Horner's syndrome and cotralateral deficits. Although rare, lower cranial nerve palsy have been reported in association with an ipsilateral spontaneous internal carotid artery dissection. We present a 59-year-old man with a complete left 9-10-12 nerve palsy due to spontaneous bilateral internal carotid artery dissection.
