Abstract

Background: Fibrous dysplasia is localized area of benign bone disorder with unknown etiology that is characterized by a slow progressive replacement of abnormal proliferation of isomorphic fibrous tissue. Fibrous dysplasia generally involves temporal and frontal cranium bones. Hearing loss is the major prominent symptom. lnvolvement of skull base in combination with aneurismal bone cyst is rare. Objectives: We report the case o fa 35 year old patient's neurological and radiological findings presented with poliostatic FD of temporal, occipital bones and clivus. Material and Methods: Neurological examination, cranial computerized tomography, cranial and cervical MRI, brainstem auditory evoked potentials were performed. Result: 35 year old female patient with FD characterized by progressive involvement of skull base and cranium was reported.
