Turkish Neurology Board Examination – Process, Results and Evaluation

Scientific background: The Turkish Neurological Society Executive
Committee began efforts to establish the Turkish Neurology Proficiency
Board in 2001, and this was achieved in 2004. The Examination
Committee, which is one of the key committees of this board, realized the
first Turkish Neurological Society written examination for proficiency with
the cooperation of Ege Medical Training Department in 2004 during the
40th National Neurology Congress. The preparation, application, and
evaluation stages of this examination have been prepared for publication,
to serve as a guide for the other neurology boards involved in this process,
and to reflect the view of the Turkish Neurological Society.
