Prognostic Value of Blink Reflex in Bell's Palsy

The blink reflex of the patients with Bell's palsy in the fýrst 5 days of the disease coursewas evaluated electrophsyiologically. Blink reflex examinations were performed at the beginning of the paralysis, after 15 days and at the first month, periodically. The results of electrophysiological tests were correlated with the clinical course. The examination of the blink reflex ofthe patients with Bell's palsy, at the early period can be an important prognostic factor.
